What we collect and why

When you contact us, we receive the name, email address, optional company name and message you provide. We use these details to respond, understand your request and discuss a possible engagement. We do not ask for passwords, sensitive customer records or attachments in the enquiry form.

We handle enquiries to take steps you request before a possible contract, or on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence. A business enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing newsletter.

Our hosting service processes technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website. This can include an IP address, time, requested path, response status and browser information. We use request limits to reduce automated abuse. We do not include form contents in application logs.

Optional measurement

With your permission, Google Analytics can measure website use and accepted enquiries, and Google Ads can measure enquiries associated with our advertising. These tags remain blocked until you opt in to the relevant purpose. We do not send your name, email, company or message to these measurement tools, and do not enable personalised advertising on this website.

Your cookie preference is stored in your browser for up to six months. You can reject optional measurement and still use the website and contact form. You can withdraw or change your permission through “Cookie settings” in the footer. See the cookie notice for details.

Who processes the information

Access is limited to people who need it to handle your enquiry and operate the service. Microsoft Azure provides website hosting and enquiry storage. Google Workspace provides business email. When enabled with your consent, Google provides the optional measurement services described above.

These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers rely on an applicable adequacy decision or contractual safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Provider processing locations and safeguards depend on the service used.

How long we keep it

The original website-form record is automatically removed from active enquiry storage after 365 days. Recoverable storage backups may remain for a further seven days. Technical application logs are kept for up to 30 days and do not contain the form message.

Related email correspondence is retained separately for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, an ongoing customer relationship, a dispute or legal recordkeeping obligations. We review information that is no longer needed. If we work together, the relevant project and statutory records follow the retention requirements for that engagement.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of processing, and a copy of information you provided. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for optional measurement at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place lawfully before withdrawal.

Changes and project-specific processing

We update this notice when the website or its processing changes. A client project may involve different information, providers and responsibilities. Those are reviewed and agreed separately before the relevant processing begins.
